Hello again,

Its a funny old time of the year isn’t it?  Everyone thinks its too early to start looking forward to Christmas yet everywhere you turn its there!  Bring on the 1st December, then I can start playing Mariah Carey ‘All I want for Christmas is you’, the best Chritmas song ever!  Certainly gets me in the mood for the festivities anyway.

As usual for mid-November, we have been inundated with late Christmas Party requests and everyone wants the same dates, location and the event preferably ‘themed’.  One of the best ‘themed’ party planners around is Mask (http://www.mask.co.uk/default.aspx?page=home), this year, they are throwing a very glam party at the stunning Old Billingsgate Market (www.oldbillingsgate.co.uk), the theme is ‘La Belle Epoque’ - A Beautiful Time, and this is exactly what you will have.  But if our staff Christmas party is anything to go by,you won’t be particularly beautiful by the end of it!

My new hotel of the week is a stunning little property which is wowing the Scottish set in Edinburgh - Tigerlily (www.tigerlilyedinburgh.co.uk) perfectly compliments all thats good about Edinburgh - chic and cosmpolitan, historical and high-living.  The coolest creation yet from Scotlands leading style bar/restaurant group Montpeliers.

The hotel is situated on George Street (shopping to die for!) and is a stunning conversion of a beautiful Georgian townhouse - 33 contemporary bedrooms, two chic bars, a buzzing restaurant and a glamorous subterranean club called Lulu.  You’re just a short walk from St Andrews Square where you will find Harvey Nichols, Louis Vuitton and Armani amongst others - can’t stop Zsa Zsa I’m shopping!  Go on…you know you’re worth it

Take care guys…more next week
