This is my very first blog & also being familiar with the term ‘blog’, but one thing that all blogs have in common is that they are based on fact and not fiction!

I’m a semi new member from the venue finding team here at the Conference People. I’ve been with the company since January 2006 and have enjoyed working here, because of the people i work with and having the opportunity of getting out of the office to help run events such as a week at Hotel New York at Euro Disney www.disneylandparis.com for Price Waterhouse Coopers www.pwc.com. 2000 delegates took part and decended on the resort, it was a very successful and long week for all but one experience that i will never forget.  My latest event that I helped out with was with CODE UK at the Midland Hotel www.midlandhotelmanchester.co.uk, again very interesting conference as it was all about botox, collagen etc. Keep you updated on more events and fam trips!!

Now a little bit about me, well I think I’m quite quiet at work but at weekends I love to go out clubbing especially in London and the place to be is Turnmills, which is one of London’s finest and top clubs. You can expect all the top DJ’s from all over the world playing the best trance music that will give you goosebumps and to be sure to get the crowd going, its a fab place to go if you love your tunes!!  Once all my dancing is out of my system on a Friday night, I then spend time with my boyfriend again going clubbing or going to the cinema as he likes to think he’s a bit of a Barry Norman when it comes to new releases.

We are off to Amsterdam next Monday for 4 nights and we are staying at the NH City Centre Hotel (located behind Dam square) www.nh-hotels.com where I’m sure some interesting sights will be seen?!!
