My name is Philip Coates and I have the role of Events Manager.

I love my position as the variety of clients and their needs makes every event unique. There are also great opportunites to travel.

It has been a really busy month - aren’t they all!! I managed the Co-operatives European Regional Assembly which was a three day event in Manchester. It went really well and it was great to meet so many lovely people from so many countries. Two weeks after that I managed the Creative Partnerships Arena which was a one day exhibition in the GMEX in Manchester. It was very impressive visually as we used white inflatable pods, with pink lighting, rather than traditional shell scheme. We also had large ringed areas which included a library and cinema!!

On a personal note I have been married for ten years and have two young children.
