 Spain and France have the obvious history of succesful events planning, but it is refreshing to see Czech Republic (no doubt thanks to the fantastic Prague) so high up the list. Personally, having honeymooned in Dubrovnik, I’m a huge fan of Croatia and I’m sure it’ll be a top 10 contender within the next few years. I suppose many decsion makers still think its a risky destination but politically its stable and has a whole bunch of great conference hotels. This is a great little venue where we stayed that has some pretty impressive conference facilities that have recently been renovated http://www.hoteli-croatia.hr/ . Highly recommended, even if its just for cheeky holiday!!!!!
