Sorry I haven’t updated you for a while but I’ve been away in the sunny climes of the Dominican Republic. 

It all sounds very glamorous to have two weeks in the Caribbean but it wasn’t all Sun, Sea and Rum Punch!  Ok so I did have one week of relaxing on a sun lounger working my way through the cocktail menu and trying snorkelling (great fun), windsurfing (wasn’t very good at that!) and sailing a catamaran (well I was just a passenger!).  I was very good at the sitting still reading a book part of the holiday!! 

However, for the first week I was there to help Matt and Kate at the Abcam event.  As Matt as already said the event was a great success.  My main roles included registering delegates, manning question and answer sessions and answering general delegate enquiries of which there were plenty!  Not forgetting the all important task of staple gunning posters to boards which is quite exhausting in the heat!

Well that is all from me for 2006.  One more day then it is time for the staff Christmas party and a continuous few days of eating and drinking!  Have a fantastic Christmas and I will be in touch in 2007 hopefully with news of moving house!
