Hello!
I don’t want to only be known for my ranting blogs, however I have a new topic! It is not a new complaint and many people have had to go through the same thing, which makes it even worse that it still goes on.
This time last week I was all ready to begin my move to Brighton. I had sold my flat and found my new home (it needed a bit of work but we were ready for the challenge). We were busy planning the new kitchen, choosing colour schemes and filling in the endless forms that come with moving house. Then it happened! Our buyer pulled out and we are back to square one (well we have a few days until we lose the Brighton flat but I have learnt to fear the worst so I am being cautious!).
When our buyer came to the flat they were very excited and taking pictures, everything seemed fine. Then out of the blue they had found another place and so pulled out of buying mine. How can it be that they carried on looking?! And how can they suddenly pull out having got our hopes up and wasted the time of all the people involved? (At this point I want to scream out ‘Its not fair!!’ but I will refrain!)
I know this goes on all the time and no doubt there are people who can tell me why our system is this way BUT for the average house buyer the whole experience is a real roller coaster of highs and lows.
I suppose the best I can do is enjoy the ride and hope that ‘It all works out for the best in the end!’ as everybody tells me it will!
xx
P.S. I promise to be much more positive in my next blog!
