I am off to Cork in a few weeks for my birthday, we have decided to go self catering this time and have hired a cottage in Skibbereen, west of Cork city centre. We are taking advantage of the 75% off flights that Ryanair are advertising at the mo - 69p for return flights to Gatwick (obviously have to add the tax too)! http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/

We are sure to visit Blarney Castle so that we can “kiss the Blarney Stone” http://www.blarneycastle.ie/pages/stone Legend has it that the Blarney Stone is the Stone of Eloquence and is found at the top of our Tower.

Apparently when you kiss it “you’ll never again be lost for words” something that has never been a problem for me so this maybe a dangerous think for me to do!  Blarney Castle was built nearly 6 hundred years ago and attracts millions of visitors each year.
