The Conference People’s Event Management team has once again been awarded the opportunity to work alongside PricewaterhouseCooper’s Eurofirms Advisory University project team in organising their second annual Eurofirms Advisory University.
September 2006 saw the inaugural launch of the annual Eurofirms Advisory Academy (name has been slightly changed.) This year’s event will once again be held at Disneyland Paris Resort, which for an event of this magnitude - 2000 delegates, 95 training courses and one huge plenary - is the only venue of its size in Europe that can offer the accessibility options needed to support delegates from over 20 European territories who will be travelling by car, train and plane.
Disneyland Paris has a great website that provides detailed information about their conference and exhibition facilities http://www.disneylandparis.com You’ll find that there’s more to this resort than just Mickey, although being welcomed by a family of Disney character’s upon check-in is an experience you’ll never forget.
The University is five days dedicated to learning and development within PwC’s Advisory services. However, there are networking activities organised by the project team, that really showcase Disneyland Paris’s flare and pizazz i.e. rides open exclusively for PwC, being greeted by pretend paparazzi while walking down the red carpet and even a cocktail reception while mingling with those loveable Disney characters.
Does Disneyland Paris appeal as a conference venue for business or is it just child’s play?
