I came across this new venue on a recent web search, after many searches of sustainable venues, green venues, environmentally friendly venues this list goes on…. 

Pines Calyx is Europe’s first sustainable conference centre and it is located in Kent just 90 minutes from central London as well as being extremely accessible from both Dover and Ashford International Station.  The venue is of award winning design and has been purpose built to be carbon neutral. http://www.carbonneutral.com/  

Pines Calyx is situated in a cliff top location in the coastal resort of Dover, Kent which is also an area of outstanding natural beauty. It also has been set in six acres of parkland which are all managed organically. 

This is an ideal location to host a conference were you want your delegates to feel that they are “doing there bit” as well as highlighting how you as an organisation are taking the environment seriously.  

The venue has three modern conference rooms, the largest can seat up to 80 theatre style and is flooded with natural daylight and a wonderful Catalan inspired dome ceiling, and it also has a fantastic terrace outside which you could us as an outside breakout area for lunch or refreshments whilst enjoying great views over the channel.
