Over 21 years we have worked with a huge variety of clients both in the public and private sector. Clients are often confused about how we get paid - how can we locate a venue for free? The answer - we work on a commissionable basis from the venue (very similar to a travel agent when booking a holiday)
Here’s how it the venue finding service works…….
Example:
Sales Conference 2008
Location: Manchester
No. of delegates: 250
Date: May 2008
The venue finding process…..
* We contact ALL venues in Manchester both in the city centre and surrounding areas personally (all venues are individually telephoned by experienced venue finders).
* We negotiate the very best rates on your behalf - usually better than you would get yourself. We saved our current clients an average of 22% in 2006 this is due to the huge volume of business we place giving us a buying power that cannot be beaten
* We then email you a full and detailed venue proposal - summarising the costs for each venue with the information you require ie room hire charges, day delegate rates, 24hour delegate rates etc.
* Organise venue inspections, when necessary, or advise you on the best venue in the area to suit your requirements based upon feedback from previous events if you do not have the time to see the venue yourself. We visit every venue we propose to ensure we are giving you the best service.
* Finally we can then confirm your booking and then you may liaise with your chosen venue directly to finalise details.
I often ask why would people undertake venue finding themselves when there is a service like this which is not only quicker and easier but saves them money too???
So what’s the catch?
There isn’t one! We do ask that you tell us of any venues you are in contact with already and then leave it to us.
I hope that I have simplified the venue finding process for everyone here as many people are new to organising events and do not know where to start. We look forward to hearing from you!
Regards
Penny
