Visit to Crewe Hall

One of my personal favourite venues is Crewe Hall it started life as a modestly sized Jacobean house in 1636, and records show that there were occupants on the Crewe Hall site as far back as Norman times. The Hall itself is a grade I listed building featuring richly designed ceilings, exquisite marble fireplaces, ornate carved wood and stained glass decoration. The hall even has its own Chapel which is my favorite part of the hall. Crewe Hall currently provides 117 guest rooms of which 26 bedrooms are located in the historic manor. Crewe Hall has 17 different conference rooms catering from 2 to 350. One of the loveliest rooms with a theatre style capacity of 85 and dining for 50 is the Great Library. A company called Chordiem were doing the entertainment that night which was really good fun we did various team challenges including building a structure to hold an egg (which we did very badly at even though my partner has a degree in product design!!).
