How can your venue finding service be free?
We're paid a commission by the venue that we confirm on your behalf, like a travel agency. We’ll still negotiate the lowest possible venue price, almost certainly better than you would get yourself. Negotiating venue costs is as much about getting value for money as it is about reducing prices.
Do you only operate in the UK?
Not at all, about 40% of all our events are in other European countries and further afield. We find that our clients often search for event venues in varied and cost-effective destinations.
Can you help with other requirements?
Yes, everything from entertainment and team building to total event management and logistics. Just tell us what you need and we’ll prepare a quote. We can do as much or as little as you need us to.
So, what’s the catch then?
There isn’t one! All we ask is that you leave it exclusively to The Conference People for your venue finding. We’ll liaise with your selected venues and arrange venue confirmation. We do ask that you tell us of any venues you are in contact with already and then leave it to us.
What about business ethics?
We believe that our business ethics are extremely important, in fact relationships with clients and venues is equally important. We never make provisional bookings unless asked to by our clients, when they have considered our proposals. Openness and honesty are vital at all stages of the event planning process.
Free venue finding?
Yes, really! Just be fair with us, we only ever have to charge when clients confirm their own venue after we have done a great deal of work or you book a venue which we have proposed, through another agency.
