It’s in its 4th incarnation now, we call it AVenue – actually simply ‘A Venue’ – because the secret is to find for you that one perfect venue that fits your brief and objectives just the way you need it. We won’t just be proposing one venue of course; in fact we contact every venue that fits with the brief that you give us, negotiate with them if they have availability and then put them in a specially prepared proposal for you.
Our service is far from automated, we believe that selecting a venue is a subjective exercise you will make the decision based on reliable facts, our database holds all the most up-to-date information on literally thousands of venues in the UK, Europe and around the World. We know about all the really unusual places as well not just hotels and conference centres; things like boats, vaults, forts, roof terraces, themed locations, museums, studios, warehouses and historic places. This information includes sizes of meeting rooms, location details, ceiling heights and so on and also (and this is the key) genuine intelligence on each venue – when it was last refurbished, how long has the manager been there, what’s the food like, how good was our last event there and what do colleagues and reviews say - in other words what’s it really like.
As you can imagine, we spend a huge amount of time updating AVenue, when there are new openings, branding changes, after we’ve made an inspection visit and when we hear relevant news. All this means that when we need it we have the most accurate information at our fingertips. This is where our new piece of software comes in to its own; it helps us to search for the most appropriate venues, send out the RFP and collate the responses, leaving us the time to negotiate the best possible deal and evaluate the bids for your event.
