Despite the political uncertainty and the affects it's having on business, the team at The Conference People had a super busy week last week for new enquiries all really interesting and exciting for venues in the UK and overseas.

Robert has been visiting clients, fact finding and site inspecting spectacular new venues in Dubai. The great news is it's more accessible than ever and not as expensive as it used to be!

In the office we've been delighted to welcome Okura Nikko Hotel Management, who represent, Okura Hotels, Nikko Hotels and Hotel Jal City to update us on their fabulous properties and exciting meeting space along with Deutsch Hospitality and Caesars Entertainment – as a group that cover from Europe to Asia to America. A real whistle-stop tour around the Globe!! Although we are UK based we can find venues for you anywhere around the world.

We had a good catch up with our Account Manager Maria from Melia Hotels who was accompanied by her colleague from Me Madrid - they brought the Spanish sunshine down to the office.

Marriott Luxury collection, visited with some great properties to meet with us and bring all their news about the venues. W South Beach, Ritz Carlton Abama and her colleague from Asia that looks after JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, The St Regis. Singapore, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove. Our last visit of the week was Isabella, our new Account Manager from Sana Hotels, so great to meet her and get the updates on the whole group. Thank you for all of our visits.

As we always say knowledge is key and we get the best updates from those in the know as well as some great feedback received from clients regarding the events they held last week that we had sourced venues for. We always have such great satisfaction in knowing that our client's events have been so successful and that we found the best fit venue for them.
