Hi Everyone,

Hope you’ve all been enjoying a bit of sunshine; summer has finally arrived and is in full swing here in the UK. We have so many events happening each month it’s hard to pick just three to talk about!

Let’s kick off June’s venue insider with one of my favourite venues in the UK; (mainly because I am a big Formula 1 fan and also because the British Grand Prix is looming) home of the British Grand Prix - Silverstone. I have spent many days walking around the track waiting eagerly for Lewis Hamilton to raise the trophy on the podium but there really is so much more to this venue than meets the eye. Not only is this venue easily accessible, with ample parking on site but it can host meetings for 10 to 1,000 delegates. Silverstone also offers team building, exhibition space and Christmas parties so it is definitely an option worth considering!

We have returned to Millennium Hilton Bangkok for the second year in a row as our clients we’re so pleased with it last year! Perfectly located on Chao Phraya “River of Kings” bank, this five-star hotel offers stunning views of the city from every one of its 533 rooms and suites. In my opinion the standout feature of this hotel is it’s award winning rooftop bar offering 360° citywide views – the perfect way to relax with a cocktail after a full day meeting! Speaking of meetings, this hotel can host meetings for 12 to 600 delegates so has plenty of event space to work with!

Perhaps the best till last, Hawker House. This all year-round indoor mega warehouse located in Canada Water has 10 bars, 15 delicious street food traders and tonnes of room for you to work with! The venue can hold up to 2,000 people in the winter and 3,000 in the summer as they can open up the outside area. This is such a versatile venue used for conferences for up to 550, exhibitions, award ceremonies, product launches, parties and almost anything you can think of!

In fact we’ve just organised an after-conference party for a Publishing Company for 1500 guests here. It was a glorious early summer evening so we made full use of the outside areas. Everyone had a fabulous time, we arranged lots of entertainment and great food and beverage from the traders on site.
