Venue Finding Services Liverpool

Liverpool has some fantastic venues on offer. One of our favourites is Liverpool ACC which has brought in around £1.45bn to the region since opening its doors in 2008. Situated right next to the river Mersey, The Conference People were the first agency to manage an event in the brand new venue which was really exciting. In 2015 the ACC doubled its size with the arrival of the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, and since 2016 accommodation right next door with the 4* Pullman Liverpool.

Whilst we’re in this area, there is The Royal Albert Dock. Once the home of ITV’s This Morning programme, it’s a buzzy area full of restaurants, bars and meeting space. From the Dr Martin Luther King Jnr Building which can seat between 40 and 150 guests to Revolution, a light and airy bar that can host up to 500 guests which is available for hire.

Just a little bit further along the river Mersey is probably one of the most iconic buildings in Liverpool, the Liver Building. Three years in the building, designed by Walter Aubrey Thomas, the Royal Liver Building was officially opened on 19 July 1911 by Lord Sheffield. Atop each clock tower stand the mythical Liver Birds, the birds are named Bella and Bertie. One looks out to sea to protect the sailors whilst the other watches over the city. The venue now hosts a variety of events, accommodating a maximum of 200 guests for a conference.

If it’s a hotel you’re looking for, then Liverpool has all the major brands; Crown Plaza, Malmaison, Radisson, Marriott and Hilton as well as a multitude of smaller, boutique hotels. We love the Malmaison Liverpool. Amazing views of the Mersey, decadently designed bedrooms, great service and flexible meeting space – no wonder it’s popular with our Clients.

We’ve mentioned them already – but for something different, both Liverpool FC and Everton FC have excellent conference facilities – Liverpool has meeting space overlooking the pitches if you’re a football fan!

Getting around the city centre is easy too – with four city centre underground stations – Lime Street lower level, Liverpool Central, Moorfields and James Street – giving you more time to see everything Liverpool has to offer. Tickets are simple too, with Day Savers for individual day travel.
