Venue Finding Services Nottingham

Nottingham is a vibrant city, with some great venues and a real favourite location for some of our Clients. Its central location makes it popular for events where delegates are travelling from around the UK as it is within easy reach of major road, rail and air links.

If you’re looking for something different, how about the Albert Hall. Built at the turn of the century and refurbished to give versatility and choice, the venue hosts conferences, dinners, concerts and exhibitions. The Great Hall can seat up to 700 delegates but has a removable arena seating which makes the room entirely flexible.

We’ve already mentioned Trent Bridge – how about hosting your meeting here. It’s got some great spaces, being able to accommodate up to 300 delegates in either Sobers Hall or Hadlee Hall and with lots of smaller rooms it’s perfect if you need breakout space. For other sporting venues, there’s the home of Nottingham FC, The City Ground and Nottingham Race Course. Both have a variety of meeting spaces available.

As far as more conventional meeting space goes, and it’s a hotel you’re looking for then Nottingham has a Crowne Plaza, two De Vere’s, a Doubletree by Hilton, a Hilton, a Holiday Inn and a Jurys Inn.

For a truly flexible space – the Motorpoint Arena ticks all the boxes. It’s located within the National Ice Centre (which incidentally was the first twin Olympic-sized ice pad facility in the UK). It has spaces to accommodate 10 to 10,000 delegates and is located just east of the city, close to the historic Lace Market area.

Finally, for a real wow factor – how about the Nave Space at St Mary’s Church. Following major and significant refurbishment, St Mary’s is both a living church and unique venue space. With a beautiful historic and atmospheric setting, it suits a range of events. Its 8,000 ft2 flat floor space can accommodate up to 400 people for a conference and 200 for a gala dinner. Parking is available nearby in Fletcher Gate (500 spaces) and the NET tram stop is less than 5 minutes’ walk.

Getting around Nottingham is easy; it’s a compact city centre. Nottingham has a tram network with multiple stops in key locations around both the city and many of the outlying villages and suburbs. There is also an extensive bus network. For those driving into the city, there are plenty of both on-street parking spaces and multi-story car parks.
