Back again with this month’s instalment of The Venue Insider!

Hopefully by now you know how it works; we're here to give you a little insight into some of the venues we have been working with this month. You might already know them or even used them, or they might be completely new to you, but these are our top picks this month.

Starting with The Waldorf Astoria Berlin, an urban oasis in the heart of Berlin’s City West – just under two hours flight from London, Berlin was one of the world’s top five conferencing destinations in 2018. Admire incredible panoramic views of the Berlin skyline from any of the 232 guest rooms, suites and apartments, or enjoy Germany’s first Guerlain Spa. With a 3,528sq.ft. ballroom, a 1920s-themed Lang Bar and a terrace on the sixth floor overlooking the city that can hold up to 200 guests, you’re sure to find something that suits you at this hotel.

Royal Armouries opened in 1996 and is a purpose-built museum which displays the National Collection of Arms and Armour. Set on a modern waterfront development, close to Leeds city centre proclaimed as the ‘Knightsbridge of the north’ this idyllic venue has 11 event spaces on offer, it can cater for meetings and events for up to 1500 delegates and has 850 Hotel bedrooms within a five-minute walk. Leeds is a very vibrant and upbeat city with excellent road, rail and air links - worth looking into for your next event!

Novotel London Excel is a hidden gem that you might only find if either hosting or attending an exhibition at Excel. Due to the location of the exhibition centre, exhibitors and visitors find it hard to entertain clients after the day ends due to the lack of restaurants and bars in the area. However, look no further than Novotel London Excel. With 257 bedrooms, 13 meeting rooms and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Victoria Dock, you have the option of private dining and drinks reception, offsite meetings or to just sit back and relax at the Upper Deck restaurant and bar after a long day of being on your feet – while you’re at it head over to the reception area where you will find complimentary foot massagers for delegates to use.
